* The twice weekly 20q Part I emails start on 2-09-08 for every city and continue until May 14th. For the 2009 online course, the Part I emails will be sent in bulk via email within 48 hours of your purchase.
** Question Bank resources to consider: Kaplan Q-bank, USMLEWorld.com, NMS review book
** It usually takes 1-2hrs to take and review 25 questions.
*** For a 240+ score, choose 5-6 books other than First Aid to review.
*** As you go through each book, make sure you correlate/read/take notes in the corresponding pages in First Aid.

Review Books to strongly consider reading or referencing:

  • BRS Pathology (or Goljan)
  • BRS Physiology
  • Lippincott Biochemistry (or Goljan)
  • Lippincott Pharmacology
  • Robbins Pathology Chapters 1-7
  • HY Neuroanatomy

Important Notes:

  • Success with this plan will require 8-10 hours of study daily.
  • By placing a check mark on the upper right-hand corner of a page completed, you can skip around in pages and keep track of what you have already done.
  • Meet with a study partner 2-3 times a week so that you can quiz each other over the FA pages read in previous weeks.
  • Each week, set aside a small amount of time to quickly review the FA pages read the previous week.
  • If this plan is too difficult, then ditch the 5-6 "Other Books" and use them as reference resources when reviewing First Aid.
  • If this plan is still too difficult, then bump the number of daily questions down to 25q/day.
